The new Paramount series from Fender is the product of decades of luthier experience with the addition of essential features to give you a range of high quality acoustic guitars. The PM-3 Standard Triple 0 has a comfortable orchestra body constructed using a premium choice of tonewoods to bring you the best acoustic timbre to match its shape.

ALL-SOLID CONSTRUCTION

The PM-3 Standard Triple 0, like the rest of the fantastic guitars hailing from the Fender Paramount series, has an all-solid construction. A solid spruce top is chosen for the soundboard and is paired with solid mahogany back and sides. The combination of solid spruce and mahogany with an orchestra cutaway body generates a wide range of versatile tones with plenty of volume. The mahogany is known for its warmer, darker tonal qualities, but also offers an attractive colour contrast against the natural, lighter shade of the body.

Firmly joined to the body is a mahogany neck which has been shaped to the fast ""C""profile, allowing you to accelerate your way up and down with ease and comfort. The neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets for you to glide along, and decorative mop dot inlays guide you with confidence from one fret to another.

FENDER PARAMOUNT PREAMP

The PM-3 Standard Triple 0 Acoustic Guitar, like its close siblings in the Paramount family, is fitted with the Fender Paramount preamp. Powered using esteemed Fishman electronics, the onboard preamp allows you to plug into any desired amplifier and hear your acoustic guitar resonate with ample volume. To shape your tone more accurately, the preamp has a bass and treble EQ and also features a convenient built-in tuner. The Phase switch reduces any unwanted noise or feedback sometimes heard through an amp, giving you total sound clarity.

HARDWARE AND FINISH

The lower bout of the body is equipped with a rosewood bridge which has a sturdy construction to ensure that a strong connection between the strings and the body is maintained. The headstock is fitted with open back nickel tuners at either side to uphold tuning integrity.

The PM-3 is accompanied by a protective tortoiseshell pickguard which complements the natural finish of the body.

To help you to protect your new acoustic for many years to come, Fender supply a guitar humidifier and a deluxe hardshell case. These are two very essential components in keeping an acoustic guitar in the best condition.
