The new Paramount series designed by Fender consists of a set of finely crafted acoustic guitars with an all-solid construction from premium tonewoods. The PM-3 Deluxe Triple 0 hails from the Paramount range and includes top quality features to offer a comfortable playing feel and a fantastic acoustic output. The PM-3 has an orchestra cutaway body and many similar aspects to the designs of the well-reputed Fender acoustics of the 60s.

SUPERIOR TONEWOOD

As mentioned, the PM-3 is shaped to an orchestra profile with a cutaway in the body which offers easier access to the upper frets, which is particularly appealing for fingerstyle guitarists. As per the rest of the Paramount Deluxe models, the PM-3 has an all-solid construction using a premium choice of tonewoods.

Fitted with a solid spruce top, the PM-3 offers a bright projection with a comprehensive tonal balance. The back and sides are made up of solid rosewood which partners beautifully with the spruce to produce a versatile acoustic output. A decorative 1960s checkerboard pattern is adopted for the purfling and soundhole rosette and has a very distinctive appearance.

NECK

The PM-3 Deluxe Triple 0 is fitted with a fast mahogany neck with a comfortable ""C""profile that you can glide along and reach the higher notes with no trouble. An ebony fingerboard with 20 frets is decorated with mop / abalone concert tone inlays recreating that 1960s feel while offering guidance from one fret to the next.

FENDER PARAMOUNT ELECTRONICS

The Paramount series of Fender guitars have been fitted with bespoke electronics that are specifically voiced to suit the body shape of each model. The PM-3 is fitted with the Paramount preamp powered by Fishman electronics which allows you to play through any desired amplifier without compromising on the natural acoustic tone on offer. A bass and treble EQ helps mold your sound to suit your playing needs at any given time. The preamp also has a user-friendly built-in tuner that helps you to check each string and retune with precision and efficiency. A Phase control switch is a vital addition as it lessens the chance of hearing any feedback or unwanted noise, making your onstage output crystal clear.

HARDWARE AND FINISH

Maintaining a firm connection between the strings and the orchestra body is an ebony bridge with a compensated bone saddle. The headstock is fitted with open back nickel tuners with black buttons to uphold tuning integrity.

A one-ply tortoiseshell Fender Kingman pickguard protects the body against scratches and dirt but also accompanies the Vintage Sunburst finish magnificently.
