Fender's new Paramount range is a group of exquisitely crafted acoustic guitars with an all-solid construction from premium tonewoods. The PM-3 Deluxe Triple 0 includes top quality features to offer a comfortable playing feel and a fantastic acoustic output. The PM-3 has an orchestra cutaway profile and refers back to the well-regarded Fender acoustics of the 60s.

SUPERB TONEWOOD

As mentioned, the PM-3 has an orchestra profile with a cutaway in the body which allows for easy access to the upper frets, which is particularly appealing for fingerstyle guitarists. As per the rest of the Paramount Deluxe models, the PM-3 has an all-solid construction using high quality tonewoods.

Fitted with a solid spruce top, the PM-3 offers scintillating projection of bright and balanced tones. The back and sides are built out of solid rosewood which partners beautifully with the spruce top to produce a versatile output. A decorative 1960s checkerboard pattern is adopted for the purfling and soundhole rosette and has a very distinctive appearance.

NECK

A fast mahogany neck with a comfortable ""C""profile is fitted to the PM-3 and you can slide away and reach the higher notes with no trouble. An ebony fingerboard with 20 frets is decorated with mop / abalone concert tone inlays recreating a 1960s feel and offering guidance from one fret to the next.

FENDER PARAMOUNT ELECTRONICS

The Paramount series of Fender guitars have been fitted with a bespoke preamp that has been specifically voiced to suit the body shape of each model. The PM-3 is fitted with the Paramount preamp powered by Fishman electronics which allows you to play through an amplifier without losing out on the natural acoustic tone. A bass and treble EQ helps mold your sound to suit your playing needs. The preamp also has a convenient built-in tuner that helps you to check each string and retune with precision. A Phase control switch is a vital addition as it lessens the chance of hearing any feedback or unwanted noise, making your onstage output crystal clear.

HARDWARE AND FINISH

Holding a firm connection between the strings and the orchestra body is an ebony bridge with a compensated bone saddle. The headstock is fitted with open back nickel tuners with black buttons to uphold tuning integrity.

A tortoiseshell Fender Kingman pickguard protects the body against scratches but also accompanies the Natural finish magnificently.

In order to protect and maintain the PM-3 over the years to come, Fender supply a deluxe hardshell case and guitar humidifier, two prime accessories that are absolutely fundamental in keeping your guitar in a first class condition.
