Fender have developed a brand new range of top quality acoustic guitars, utilising years of experience and knowledge. Consequently, Fender are pleased to announce the Paramount series, including the PM-1 Standard Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. The PM-1 is built using a selection of carefully chosen tonewoods to provide a well-balanced, acoustic timbre. The PM-1 Standard comes at a low cost, appealing to a wide spectrum of guitarists.

EXCEPTIONAL TONEWOOD

Fender are known for their ability to design superb guitars, and their expert luthiers have come together to build the PM-1 Standard. The dreadnought body shape is paired with a solid spruce top to give you a wealth of acoustic tones that make it such a balanced sounding model.

The back and sides of the PM-1 Standard are constructed using rosewood thanks to its warm, smooth tonal range. The coupling of rosewood with the solid spruce top accomplishes versatile tones with a sumptuous appearance to go with it.

NECK

A mahogany neck is firmly fitted to the body with a ""C""profile which is historically recognised for its comfortable playing feel. Aboard the neck is a rosewood fingerboard, consisting of 20 frets and mop inlays to guide you from one to the next.

FENDER PARAMOUNT PREAMP

Fender have chosen to equip the PM-1 Standard Dreadnought with a Fishman Paramount preamp which enables you to broaden the tone and resonance of the guitar through any desired amplifier. The Paramount preamp features Fishman electronics and a bass and treble EQ to shape your sound. The preamp also conveniently includes a built-in tuner, which works quickly and efficiently to ensure you can retune your strings with ease and precision. A Phase switch reduces any unwanted noise or feedback you may hear onstage, thus giving you an exceedingly clear output.

HARDWARE AND FINISH

The PM-1 Standard has a rosewood headcap, and a rosewood bridge which maintains a strong connection between the body and each of the strings. Open Back Nickel tuners are fitted to the headstock to uphold tuning integrity.

Elegantly complementing the Natural finish is a tortoiseshell pickguard with the Fender Kingman shape, adding style to the appearance but maintaining practicality in protecting the guitar body.

Fender have included a hardshell case and a guitar humidifier with the PM-1 Standard, both are essential accessories in keeping the guitar in as-good-as-new condition for many years to come.
