The PM-2 Parlour Acoustic is a new addition to the Fender Paramount family and comes in an All-Mahogany, Open Pore Natural finish. The Parlour acoustic has a smaller body compared to its dreadnought counterparts, offering enhanced comfort and playability. Don't be put off by its size, though, as the PM-2 Parlour has plenty of tonal definition to offer.

Body

A significant feature of the PM-2 Parlour is its all-mahogany body. Employing solid mahogany in the body top, back and sides contributes to the PM-2's dynamic tone and response, offering lively attack with lots of warmth. Its smaller Parlour-frame adds a brighter timbre with great volume. Fender have reinforced the body top with quartersawn ""X"" scalloped bracing, adding strength to the tonewood and improving the guitar's ability to resonate freely.

Neck

The all-mahogany body is accompanied by a smooth mahogany neck which meets the body at the 12th fret. The neck is shaped to the comfortable, modern ""C"" profile allowing for seamless movement as you play. Topping the neck is a 15.75 inch radius rosewood fingerboard, adorned with Mother-of-Pearl dot position inlays to guide you.

Hardware and Finish

The lower bout of the Parlour body is equipped with a robust rosewood bridge and compensated bone saddle which work together to improve sustain and resonance of the Parlour's natural, bright timbre. Tuning accuracy is upheld with precision thanks to the nickel open-back tuning machines fitted to the Fender '40s Traditional headstock.

The all-mahogany Paramount PM-2 has an Open Pore Natural finish complete with a 1-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, Fender '60s checkerboard rosette and Aged White/Black/Checker/Black body-binding. For protection on the road, Fender supply a Deluxe Hardshell Case in black.
