Being a dreadnought the Fender Kingman Bass SCE Electro Acoustic has the rich bass response that this shape is known for, whilst still being comfortable to hold.

Solid spruce has been used for the Fender Kingman Bass SCE Electro Acoustics top wood for its clarity and high velocity of sound throughout the registers. Mahogany has been chosen for the back & sides for the emphasis it puts on bass and treble as well as adding to the bass, volume. The gloss-finished body of the Fender Kingman Bass SCE is complemented by a vintage-inspired 3-ply gold pickguard, checkerboard soundhole rosette and multiple body bindings.

Making the transition easier from electric to acoustic bass the Fender Kingman Electro Acoustic Bass SCE has a Jazz Bass ""C""shape maple neck. The J Bass theme is also continued throughout, with a Jazz Bass headstock, tuners and strap button. A 20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with block position inlays tops the neck and the scale length is a standard 34"". Helping volume and clarity is a bone nut and vintage-style rosewood Fender ""Viking""bridge with compensated bone saddle.
