The Fender FSR Limited Edition Classic Series '50 Telecaster Guitar in Lake Placid Blue is the perfect choice for those who have always craved that vintage Tele' feel, look, and tone. Adhering closely to classic Tele' characteristics, Fender have employed modern build techniques in the construction of the guitar to make this a highly affordable, highly sought-after model.

          Classic Tele' design

The instantly recognisable single-cutaway Tele' body shape paved the way for all other Fender models, yet remains a go-to model for guitarists across all genres to this day. The slab-like body offers a reassuringly sturdy feel, whilst the elegantly shapes curves create a comfortable playing position. The body is built using ash, a resilient tonewood that generates a crisp mid to high-end energy with a generous low-end. The solid quality of the body resonates beautifully to establish a confident output. The body has been finished in Lake Placid Blue, and treated to a coasting of polyester for lasting protection.

          Sturdy maple neck

Fitted to the body is a supple maple neck, which is shaped to the ""C"" shape profile for a smooth fast playing feel. Married to the neck is a gorgeous maple fingerboard, which is home to 21 frets that are adorned with black dot position inlays to guide your way in style. At the top of the neck is a synthetic bone nut, which partners with the 7.25-inch radius perfectly to optimise string tension and placement for seamless string bends, and lightning fast licks. When you pick this beauty up, you'll feel right at home. The neck has been treated to a gloss urethane finish, allowing you to glide along it with ease.

          Tele' versatility

The FSR Limited Edition Classic Series '50 Tele' is equipped with an American Vintage '58 in the bridge, and a P-90 single-coil in the neck, an illustrious partnership that produces sparkling Tele' tones. The neck is perfect for fat tones that are very versatile, navigating anything from rock to country with ease. The bridge pickup is greatly for tight cleans, chunky palm-mutes, and hitting the highs with all that you've got. Whether played naked through an amp, or with a wash of effects, this Tele' can certainly hold its own.

Control over the pickups is very simple; a 3-way selector switch allows quick changes between the neck and bridge, whilst tone and volume attenuation are handled by individual master knobs. Though the layout may be simple, the tonal output is as complex and rich as you could want it to be, with knurled flat-top knobs guaranteeing precise control.

          Gig-ready hardware

The body is equipped with a 3-saddle American Vintage strings-through-body Tele' bridge with chrome barrel saddles, which creates a seamless connection between the strings and the body. The upside of this isn't just a reassuringly anchored feel to each string, but optimised intonation and sustain throughout every performance. The headstock is home to vintage-style tuning machines, which uphold tuning integrity dutifully.

The Fender FSR Limited Edition Classic Series '50 Telecaster Guitar in Lake Placid Blue is simply breath-taking, but if you weren't swayed by its charms (and ludicrously affordable price tag) already, Fender have included a Pro Series' Tweed case to seal the deal in style.
