The FSR Limited Edition Classic Series '50 Strat features the same double-cutaway body shape that we've all come to know and love. With softly bevelled edges, ergonomically designed curves, and deep double-cutaways, the Strat pushed playing comfort light years into the future. The same cool features are on hand, as is the same tonewood complement - ever faithful alder. Praised and favoured by Fender since the Stratocaster's introduction, alder offers a sweetly balanced timbre that makes the guitar perfect for a wide range of musical styles. Smooth playing maple neck

Fitted to the body is a smooth maple neck, which has been shaped to the classic Soft-""V"" profile to maximise playing comfort. Married to the neck is a gorgeous maple fingerboard, which is home to 21 frets that are adorned with black dot position inlays to guide your way in style. At the top of the neck is a synthetic bone nut, which maintains string position and tension dutifully. The 7.25-inch fingerboard radius paves the way for seamless string bends and lightning fast licks. As noted, the double-cutaway body profile allows the upper frets to be reached with ease.
