With the release of their new F-Series models, some may recognise the cool styling that was initially modelled on the classic 1970s F-Series guitars. Combining tonally rich woods, solid construction, reliable hardware and a delightfully understated finish, the F-1000CE is a very unique model, delivered at an astonishingly affordable price.

The dreadnought body shape is well known for producing a powerful tone, rich in complexity with a vast dynamic range. The cutaway at the 17th fret affords greater access to the upper frets, which is great for guitarists who like to utilise the full tonal spectrum. The tones produced by this body shape, are excellent for solo performers who need a powerful guitar that will respond perfectly to their technique. It is also great for guitarists who play as part of an ensemble, who demand versatility in power and consistency of tone. This is so they can sit nicely alongside other instruments, but dig out more power when required.

The body is built from laminate mahogany - back and sides - and a laminate spruce top. The mahogany builds up the satisfying mid to low-end richness, whilst the depth of the dreadnought shape builds up the power. The bright-sounding spruce is an excellent projector thanks to its highly resonant properties. The laminated nature of the tonewoods allows them to respond very well to changes in temperature and humidity, so that wherever life takes you and your F-1000CE, it plays exactly as you want it to every time. The added layer of gloss urethane allows the woods to resonate fully and preserves the beautiful natural finish for as long as possible.

Carefully fitted binding protects the edges of the body. This safeguards the top incase the worst should happen and you drop or knock over your guitar. Scalloped quartersawn spruce ""X"" bracing supports the spruce top whilst allowing it to resonate freely to produce the biggest sound possible.

The robust mahogany neck is shaped to the comfortable ""C"" shape profile and has also received a gloss urethane finish, giving it a smooth playing feel that allows you to glide up and down it effortlessly. Atop this is the delightful rosewood fingerboard, which is home to 20 vintage-style frets. As this is such a special model, a unique inlaid maple Fender ""F"" at the 12 fret gives a distinctive yet subtle visual style.

To guarantee that the F-1000CE plays as good as it looks, Fender has included some high-quality appointments. A Graph Tech NuBone nut maintains string spacing perfectly. The rosewood vintage-style Fender ""Viking"" bridge with compensated Graph Tech NuBone saddle, creates a seamless connection between the strings and the body to maintain excellent sustain.

The Fender F-1000CE even comes fitted with a Fishman Isys III System with active onboard preamp and tuner - an electronics system normally reserved for models with a considerably higher price tag. At your fingertips you have access to the built-In chromatic tuner with On/Off switch - so you can rest assured that you can always keep yourself in tune. The pickup simply amplifies the natural timbre of the tonewoods without adding colour or distortion to the signal. Using the Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble controls, you can easily craft your output based on your environment and whom you,re playing with - great for gigging musicians.

For an affordable, tonally rich guitar that is suited to life on the road, look no further than the Fender F-1000CE dreadnought cutaway acoustic.
